SEKLS Home 9 General Consulting 9 Excellence Awards

Excellence Awards winners

The annual Excellence Awards recognize outstanding library performance in southeast Kansas.
There are eight categories of Excellence Awards.
In any given year, SEKLS may give one or more awards in any of these categories,
but no more than five awards will be given in any year.
The recipient receives a trophy, and their library receives a $1,000 check.
Their name is also added to a traveling plaque for that category of award.
Look here for the nominating and other guidelines and the Nomination Form.

We will NOT let that happen.Last night the President signed an order to gut the Institute of Museum & Library Services. But together, we know we can show up & defeat it.We'll have more to share in the coming days. But what can you do right now? Call your members of Congress. Call your state and local officials. Tell them exactly what's at stake if the President's order stands: the future of America's libraries.
