The Southeast Kansas Library System (SEKLS) currently has an opening for a full-time Technology Consultant. Responsibilities include coordinating the work of the Technology Services Department and providing consulting and technical support to member libraries and staff. This position also provides training and planning support to member libraries and encourages the adoption of new and emerging technologies to support the overall improvement of library services. Projects on the horizon include expanding maker space support and a web-site remodel. Headquartered in Iola, Kansas, SEKLS is a multi-type regional library system that supports public, academic, special, and school libraries in a 15-county area. Iola is a town of 5,500 full of charm, rural beauty, bike trails, great schools, and a performing arts center. Desired qualifications: MLS from an accredited program or comparable combination of education and experience in libraries. Salary range is $55,000 – $59,500.
